Welcome to Memory That Lasts. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English because trust matters more than legalese.

Who we are

These Terms of Service are entered into between you and Memory That Lasts LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (Delaware File Number 10275645), with registered agent Harvard Business Services, Inc. at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. Our business operates at memorythatlasts.com under the trade name "Memory That Lasts."

When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean Memory That Lasts LLC. When we say "you" or "your," we mean you, the customer, visitor, or reader.

Our products

We sell premium jewelry in two ranges: engraved pieces, which are engraved in the United States after you order, and ready to wear pieces, which arrive finished with no engraving.

Ordering

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we charge your card and begin production. Because personalized items cannot be restocked, please:

Double-check your spelling, engraving is exactly as typed
Confirm your shipping address, we can't reroute mid-production
Place only what you want, personalized items are final sale (see below)

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders we suspect are fraudulent or contain engraving that violates these terms (see "Acceptable engraving" below).

Pricing

All prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error, we may cancel your order and issue a full refund.

Shipping

We currently ship within the United States and Canada. Free standard shipping is available for both countries.

Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

Returns, refunds, and exchanges

Our complete Refund Policy explains return eligibility, personalized-product restrictions, required photographs, product-problem resolutions, and return-shipping responsibilities.

Non-personalized pieces purchased as shown may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they meet the conditions in our Refund Policy. Personalized pieces are final sale for a change of mind. We do not offer exchanges.

If a piece arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or with an engraving error we made, submit a request within 14 days of delivery.

Changes and cancellations

We will do our best to help, but changes and cancellations are not guaranteed once production, packing, or fulfillment begins.

Acceptable engraving

You're welcome to engrave names, initials, short words, dates, or short phrases, anything that honors someone or something you love. We reserve the right to refuse to engrave:

Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory content
Threats or harassment
Sexually explicit text
Copyrighted names or phrases you don't have the right to use
Text that violates trademark law

If your order contains unacceptable text, we'll reach out via email before canceling. If we can't reach you, the order will be cancelled and refunded.

Your account

If you create an account on our site, you're responsible for: - Keeping your password secure - Any activity under your account - Notifying us immediately if you believe it's been compromised

Intellectual property

All website content, logos, product photography, and designs are owned by Memory That Lasts or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute without permission.

If you're a creator or influencer interested in collaborating, we'd love to hear from you, reach out via contact form.

User content

If you submit photos, reviews, or comments to our site or tag us on social media, you give us permission to use that content to promote our products. You confirm: - You own or have rights to the content - It doesn't violate anyone else's rights - It doesn't contain anything harmful, illegal, or offensive

We may remove any user content at our discretion.

Disclaimers and limits

Our products are intended for personal decorative use only
We make no warranty about medical, spiritual, or therapeutic benefits
Metal finishes (gold PVD, stainless steel) are durable but will show normal wear over time with daily use
We are not responsible for allergic reactions to metals. Materials vary by piece and are listed on every product page

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our products or website is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any dispute must be resolved in Delaware courts or through binding arbitration (your choice).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top and, if the changes are significant, email our subscribers. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
